This is what you
want to hear

LatteRace's story began with us,
and maybe even earlier than that.

The founder of RLC

Running Latte Club's founder, Viktória Környei (Viki), dreamed up RLC in November 2023, with one goal: to contribute to a healthier, more active society, to build community, and to fill movement with meaning. What started as a club quickly became something more: a movement, a direction, an example. It soon became clear that the vision was bigger than a running club: by May 2024, the goal was already clear: to build a community-sport-wellbeing platform that contributes, as part of something larger, to a healthier society.

The race became one of its next milestones.

Her partner,
co-founder

Attila Nyári (Ati), Viki's partner, has been an integral part of RLC's life from the very beginning. His 10 years' experience of design led to be responsible for shaping the brand, from developing the merchandise, social contents, websites all the way to leading the entire back office and managing partner relations.

The one and only companion

Balázs Antal (Balázs), a former national triathlete, marathon runner who was one of the earliest participants at an RLC run, a running companion in the beginning, which turned into a friendship and then became the core partner in the club's life. Today he leads the race's finances and manages the partner relations.

LatteRace is the culturally relevant, contemporary, experience-driven race-and-event-organizing branch of the Latte ecosystem.

“This is our first race in this adventure; we can't wait to live it with you.”

Running Latte Club

Where it all has begun

Running Latte Club® started with two runners and no sponsor whatsoever.

It grew organically to 7,000 members because showing up twice a week at an unreasonable hour turned out to be exactly what this city was craving.

A reason to leave the house.

Why another race in Budapest?

Because we wanted to build something that moves the whole city with you, not around you.

Here's what we believe, plainly:

Connection over performance.

Chase a personal best if you want one. Nobody here will ask for your time before your name.

Experience over numbers.

A finisher medal is not the point. What counts is that you show up, and the connections, the feelings. And that we can tell - at least you never walked.

Openness over elitism.

First 10K. Twentieth half marathon. Same start corral, same nerves, same Duna at sunrise.

Culture over routine.

This isn't a course we run because it's always been run. It's Kossuth tér to the Rakpart back to Kossuth tér, built the way we'd build it if nobody had ever done this before.

Every good run starts before the run, usually over a coffee, standing around with people you didn't know an hour ago, deciding together to go. That's not a brand metaphor, it’s just a Saturday morning for us. LatteRace begins there, and it doesn't really end at the finish line either. It ends at whichever coffee shop is still open in the after hours.

Some of you live three tram stops from Kossuth Square. Some of you are booking flights because someone in another city's run club wouldn't stop talking about this one. You'll stand in the same start zone. You'll finish under the same sky.

We are excited to see you. The Latte Race - a running festival is not a basic race. It's the weekend Budapest finally ran the way it's always deserved to.

It’s your experience, your feeling, your consequent training, and your power to show up. However, we guarantee that we will do everything possible to provide you with an unforgettable experience and help you achieve your dream.

This is going to get louder and louder.
