Utoljára módosítva, érvényes: 2026.09.10.
1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) set out the terms for registering for the running race (hereinafter: Race) advertised by Running Latte Club Kft. (hereinafter: Service Provider or Organizer) on the latterace.com and latterace.hu websites (hereinafter: Website), and for using the related services.
Registration and payment on the Website are processed through the Cheers registration and ticketing system, operated by Develops Hungary Kft. Part of the technical registration process therefore takes place on the Cheers platform.
The language of the contract is Hungarian. The Service Provider does not file the resulting contract; it cannot be accessed or viewed afterwards, other than the order data available in the Customer's own account.
The Service Provider is not subject to any code of conduct.

3. Subject of the service
The Service Provider organizes recreational sporting events, and in this capacity offers the opportunity to register for its running race, as well as to use related supplementary services.
Date of the Race: September 19, 2027, daytime start, from 8:00 AM. The Race is held over two distances, 10 km and 21 km; on the 21 km distance, entry is also possible as a duo (2-person) relay.
4. Registration
The Customer selects the Race and the distance within it (10 km or 21 km, or on the 21 km distance the duo relay option) on the Website, and then the entry fee applicable in the currently valid price tier.
The Customer may register themselves, or – by providing that person's details – register another person. If someone registers another person, it is the registering person's responsibility to have that person's consent for the necessary data processing.
At the end of the registration process, the Customer must accept these GTC, the Competition Rules, and the Privacy Notice, and upon starting the payment process the Website redirects to the payment interface.
5. Payment
The entry fee can be paid via the Cheers system, by credit or debit card.
Prices shown on the Website are gross prices valid at the time of registration. Under the Service Provider's pricing policy, the entry fee may increase according to the price tiers as the Race date approaches.
The Service Provider is not liable for a price that, despite reasonable care, is obviously displayed incorrectly (e.g. a price of HUF 0 or an incorrectly discounted price shown due to a system error). If an incorrect price is displayed, the Service Provider will offer the option to purchase the service at the correct price, in light of which the Customer may decide whether to maintain the order or withdraw from it without any adverse legal consequence.
6. Correction of data entry errors and confirmation
The Customer may correct data entry errors at any time until the order is finalized. If the Customer discovers an error in the data provided after finalizing the registration, this must be reported to the Service Provider as soon as possible.
The Service Provider sends an automatic confirmation email upon successful registration. The confirmation constitutes acceptance of the Customer's offer, and a valid contract is formed between the parties.
If the Customer notices an error in the confirmation email, this must be reported to the Service Provider without delay, and no later than within 1 day.
The order qualifies as a contract concluded by electronic means, governed by Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce services. The contract is also subject to Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses.
7. Amending the registration and withdrawal
7.1. Amending registration details
Registration details may be amended no later than July 15, 2027, via the Cheers registration system. Up to the stated deadline, the following may be amended:
- the chosen race distance,
- contact details (email address, phone number),
- t-shirt size.
Changing the name given at registration (transferring the registration to a third party) is also possible until July 15, 2027, subject to payment of a 7,500 HUF administration fee.
After the stated deadline, registration details – including the name – can no longer be amended.
8. Fees and discounts
The entry fee increases in tiers according to the time of registration. The applicable price tiers are: Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Regular, Regular 2, Late Bird, On-site registration.
8.1. Student discount
This discount is available to Participants holding a valid ISIC student card. Eligibility is checked by the Service Provider at bib pickup, upon presentation of the card.
8.2. Disability discount
Registration is free of charge upon presentation of a currently valid disability card/certificate. Eligibility is checked by the Service Provider at bib pickup, upon presentation of the card/certificate.
If the Participant cannot present the certificate required for the discount at bib pickup, the Service Provider will provide participation at the full price, and the Participant must pay the difference in the entry fee on site.
9. Rights and obligations of the Participant
Participation in the Race is only permitted after payment of the entry fee and confirmation of registration, and upon acceptance of the conditions set out in the Competition Rules.
The Customer, as well as – where the Customer and the person actually taking part in the Race are not the same person – the person present at the Race (hereinafter jointly: Participant) must comply with the provisions of the Competition Rules and these GTC.
By registering, the Participant declares that they take part in the Race at their own risk, and that their physical and health condition is suitable for completing the chosen distance. The Service Provider bears no liability for damages arising from the Participant's health condition.
The Participant acknowledges that breaching the rules set out in the Competition Rules (e.g. wearing the bib number, keeping to the designated route, prohibited conduct) may result in disqualification from the Race.
The Participant accepts that photographs and videos may be taken of them during the Race, which the Service Provider may use for the purpose of promoting the Race and its own activities; the Participant is not entitled to any compensation for this.
The Participant acknowledges that the data provided at registration (e.g. name, race category) may appear on the public start and results lists.
The registrant acknowledges that the entry fee does not include insurance.
10. Race code of conduct
The detailed rules of participation in the Race are set out in the Competition Rules issued by the Service Provider, as amended from time to time, acceptance of which is a condition of registration. In matters that may conflict with these GTC, the provisions of the Competition Rules govern specifically sport-related questions concerning the running of the Race.
11. Liability of the Service Provider
The Service Provider is obliged to process confirmed registrations and to organize the Race in accordance with these GTC and the Competition Rules.
The Service Provider is not liable for:
- damage caused by an external circumstance that it could not reasonably avert and could not foresee (force majeure);
- damage arising from the Participant's health condition;
- a Participant not being admitted to the Race venue for safety reasons, or for reasons within the Participant's own sphere (e.g. appearing under the influence of alcohol or another intoxicating substance).
The Service Provider is not liable for valuables left by Participants at the Race, or left in the cloakroom/accompanying vehicles.
12. Right of withdrawal and cancellation
12.1. Right of withdrawal relating to registration for the Race
Under Section 29(1)(l) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, a Customer qualifying as a consumer is not entitled to a right of cancellation (withdrawal) in relation to registration and related services, since registration qualifies as a contract for a service related to leisure activities that includes a specific deadline for performance (the date of the Race).
12.2. Right of withdrawal for products sold on the Website (e.g. T-shirts)
In addition to registration for the Race, the Service Provider also sells certain products (in particular T-shirts and other sports equipment) on the Website. The provisions of this section apply exclusively to such purchased products; registration for the Race is governed by Section 12.1.
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), a Customer qualifying as a consumer has the right to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the product (or, for an order consisting of multiple items, of receiving the last item).
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the product was produced to the Customer's specifications or was clearly personalized (e.g. with a custom print or custom size), pursuant to Section 29(1)(c) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).
The Customer may notify the Service Provider of their intention to withdraw using the model withdrawal statement forming Annex 1 to these GTC, or by any other clear written statement to that effect, at the contact details listed in Section 2. The deadline is deemed to have been met if the Customer sends the withdrawal statement before the 14-day deadline expires.
In the event of withdrawal, the Customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than within 14 days of communicating the withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Customer.
The Service Provider will refund the full amount paid by the Customer – including the delivery cost, up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the Service Provider – within 14 days of becoming aware of the withdrawal, using the same payment method originally used by the Customer, unless the Customer expressly agrees to a different payment method with the Service Provider and this does not result in any additional cost to the Customer. The Service Provider may withhold the refund until the product has been returned, or until the Customer has provided credible proof that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The Customer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
12.3. Shipping, receipt, and transfer of risk
The ordered product is delivered to the Customer via the method offered on the Website and selected by the Customer when placing the order – this may be delivery by courier or postal service to the address given by the Customer, or personal collection at the pickup point specified on the Website (which may, where applicable, include the venue of the Race, at the same time as bib pickup). The available shipping/collection methods, the delivery deadline, and any shipping cost are clearly indicated by the Service Provider on the Website before the order is finalized.
Risk in relation to the product passes from the Service Provider to the Customer at the moment the product is taken into possession by the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer. If the Customer arranges the carrier themselves and this differs from the methods offered by the Service Provider, risk passes to the Customer already upon handover to the carrier.
13. Warranty for defective performance and product warranty
The warranty rules set out in this section apply, mutatis mutandis, both to registration for the Race and to physical products sold on the Website (e.g. T-shirts). Products sold by the Service Provider are not subject to statutory mandatory guarantee.
In the event of defective performance by the Service Provider, the Customer may assert a warranty claim against the Service Provider for defective performance. In the case of a consumer contract, the Customer may assert warranty claims within a limitation period of 2 years from the date of use.
At the Customer's choice, they may request repair or replacement, unless fulfilling the chosen claim is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional cost for the Service Provider. If repair or replacement cannot be requested, the Customer may request a proportionate price reduction, or – as a last resort – may withdraw from the contract.
The Customer must report the defect to the Service Provider without delay after discovering it, and no later than within 2 months of discovering the defect. In the case of a defect discovered within 6 months of performance, it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of performance, unless the Service Provider rebuts this presumption.
14. Complaint handling and legal remedies
The Participant may report complaints relating to the service or the Service Provider's activities via the contact details listed in Section 2.
The Service Provider will remedy a verbal complaint immediately if possible; if this is not possible, or if the Participant disagrees with how the complaint is handled, the Service Provider will record the complaint and provide a substantive response within 30 days. The Service Provider will likewise respond to written complaints within 30 days.
If the dispute between the parties cannot be resolved through direct negotiation, the Participant is entitled to:
- lodge a complaint with the competent consumer protection authority;
- initiate proceedings before the conciliation board competent for their place of residence or stay; the boards' contact details can be found at bekeltetes.hu;
- use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform for cross-border consumer disputes relating to an online sales contract (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
15. Copyright
The Website as a whole, including its graphic elements, text, and technical solutions, is protected by copyright. Saving or reproducing the content of the Website, or copying or modifying the Service Provider's database in any way, is permitted only with the Service Provider's prior written consent.
16. Amendment of the GTC
The Service Provider is entitled to unilaterally amend these GTC, subject to prior notice to Participants on the Website. The amended provisions take effect after publication, upon the Participant's next use of the Website, and apply to registrations made after the amendment.
